C Corp Transactions
There are many properties which are owned in either domestic or foreign corporations which have a substantial double tax cost for the share owners of these corporations upon disposition of the real property. This C Corporation ownership structure often prevents the sale of the fee interest in a piece of property because the overall tax cost at the corporate and shareholder levels is too great.
Green Fortune has completed a number of transactions on behalf of the share owners of C (domestic) and F (foreign) Corporations to substantially reduce the overall tax cost of disposition. For all owners with such a structure involving properties of at least $10 million in value, Green Fortune can facilitate the disposition enabling the shareholder to maximize net after tax cash. If buyers have identified property which is in a C Corporation but the owner is unwilling to incur the double tax, Green Fortune can facilitate this transaction.
1031 Exchange Services Group
